Wart Treatment
Skin growths that appear after directly coming into contact with types of the human papillomavirus (HPV) are called warts. The HPV can only infect the outermost layer of skin, causing skin cells to multiply. Unless there is an open wound, HPV cannot infect beneath the surface. But once it enters the body through a cut or broken skin, a wart begins to grow.
A wart can take months to become visible. If you suffer from immune system deficiencies, you will have a higher chance of warts. The most common occurrences of warts occur in children and young adults.
