Dermatology Resident Externship

Program Overview

Our mentorship program offers hands-on dermatology experience and personalized guidance as you refine your clinical skills. You’ll collaborate with our highly experienced team, gaining exposure to both medical and cosmetic dermatology with an emphasis on diverse skin tones and conditions.

Key Benefits of the Program

• One-on-One Mentorship: Work directly under Dr. Bryantand our expert dermatology team.
• Comprehensive Clinical Exposure: Assist with patient consultations, diagnostic techniques, and dermatologic procedures, including cases involving skin of color (Fitzpatrick Types IV-VI).
• Skill Development: Gain practical experience in dermatologic exams, biopsies, excisions, and common skin disorder management (acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, etc.).
• Cosmetic Dermatology Insights: Observe advanced treatments, including injectables, lasers, and aesthetic procedures.

Program Eligibility

• Current medical residents or fellows nearing completion of their training.
• Availability for at least two months of shadowing/mentorship time prior to completion of residency.
• Demonstrated interest in dermatology and patient-centered care.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing dermatology expertise.

Application Process

Submit your CV, letter of intent, and medical school transcripts for consideration.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with select candidates invited to interview with Dr. Bryant and the leadership team.
