Collagen Induction Therapy
Microneedling
Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) is a minimally invasive procedure that creates microscopic punctures in the skin. This is accomplished with a pen-like device which inserts very fine short needles into the skin. Microneedling works by stimulating the skin to produce more collagen. Thus, microscopic punctures in the skin causes mild injury to the skin and begins the process of rejuvenating the skin by activating your body’s collagen and elastin production which generates new collagen rich tissue.
