These are most often found in the folds of the skin or on the neck, armpits, or upper body. However, moles are slightly different. - Skin tags are most common in people with darker skin and often need to be removed. Once numbed, the methods of removal include freezing, scraping, surgical removal or cauterization.

- Cysts are made up of skin cells, oil, protein and sometimes pus. Cysts below the skin can cause an infection. Because of this, cysts are drained from nicking the skin with a surgical blade.
- Fibroma/Fibroepithelial Polyps are growths that have a stalk and can be excised with scissors and local anesthesia.
