Janis Carter, NP - C, APRN has been a practicing nurse practitioner since 2002. She has a wealth of knowledge and background in healthcare that includes, Abdominal Organ Transplant, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, Aesthetics, Anesthesia, and Women's Health. Her educational background provided her with a framework for holistic medicine as an undergraduate nurse from Georgia Baptist of College ( currently Mercer University) where she developed a passion for holistic and herbal medicine. Her graduate degree from Emory University School of Nursing enhanced her knowledge base by strengthening her critical thinking and research skills. She is a member of Chi Eta Phi Mu Phi Chapter nursing sorority, a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center to name a few. She is fun, energetic, and knowledgeable. She has a great rapport with clients/patients and goes over and beyond to ensure full satisfaction.
